It’s hard to believe summer is right around the corner—time really does fly! Speaking of flying... I’m excited to share that our newly launched BirdSmart™ Bird Safe Glass has been receiving outstanding feedback. Its innovative first-surface laser etchings offer effective bird protection without compromising performance or views.
I’m also pleased to share progress on several initiatives we’ve been diligently working on, like our new Spandrelite™ glass and recently launched FramingFactor™ tool:
- Spandrelite™ Glass takes building facades to the next level by turning structural elements into eye-catching features. Available in black, white, and warm gray, it works perfectly with different glass styles while hiding things like HVAC systems, plumbing and wiring.
- FramingFactor™ calculates the Total Assembly Performance (TAP) of dual-pane, triple-pane and vacuum insulating glass (VIG) units. It offers various glazing and framing options, letting you easily compare, save, download and share performance data in just a few clicks.
This edition also shines a spotlight on the FirstHealth Cancer Center in Pinehurst, N.C., celebrated for its striking Vitro glass facade that features a harmonious blend of Vistacool® Azuria® and Vistacool® Pacifica® glass with Solarban® 60 glass, combining aesthetic appeal with energy efficiency.
