What’s New: VCNMember.com, CAM Team Growth and Digital Tools
Dear Vitro Certified™ Network Member,
It’s hard to believe that we’re halfway through 2023. Here at Vitro, we’re thrilled by what our impressive network of architects, glaziers, fabricators and Vitro employees have already accomplished this year, and we’re excited to continue working together to make the second half of 2023 our best year yet.
Earlier this spring, we had the pleasure of welcoming many of our Vitro Certified™ Network members to our annual meeting in Florida. We hope those of you who joined us had a great time networking with Vitro leadership and learning more about our products. As always, if you were unable to make it, you can download presentations from the meeting on the VCN member website at vcnmember.com.
Since the launch of the all-new VCN website earlier this year, our team has been hard at work making updates to further improve the site and optimize its convenient features, including the Spec Select Product Comparison Tool, which we recently updated to include the following features:
- A Print to PDF feature for search results
- Results for multiple product match searches
- Links directly to Vitro’s Construct tool for search result products
Also available on the VCN member website are your Vitro Certified™ Network certificates. After you download your certificates as .JPG files, you have the option of either printing the image file directly for a physical copy or using your computer’s print function to Print to PDF, which will allow you to conveniently save a PDF version of the certificate in your files.
Since last quarter, Vitro’s biggest news has been the launch of its all-new Vitro X™ Innovation Partnerships program, a strategic initiative focused on identifying and developing inspired solutions to existing and future challenges in the glass industry. To learn more about the program and our first two partners, AERAS and ClearShield® Technologies, visit vitro-x.com.
I hope you enjoy reading this issue of our newsletter, which examines the impact of framing materials on glass performance metrics and what to consider when evaluating overall performance. Also included is a feature on the Pittsburgh Produce Terminal, a thriving mixed-use space in Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District neighborhood that was renovated with Acuity™ and Solarban® 72 glasses as well as a get-to-know story featuring Chris Fronsoe, who is helping lead the charge toward increasing Vitro’s market share of “skyline-defining projects.”
Lastly, if we missed you at our annual VCN meeting, we invite you to take a look at our introduction video to get to know some of our newest Vitro team members in action. Personally, I think it’s a home run!
Sincerely,
Mark Seeton
