New Year, New Focus

Dear Vitro Certified™ Network Member,

Your business, and ours, hinge on product quality. That’s why over the past few years, we’ve made a concerted effort to raise our standard through ISO Audits and Vitro Quality System Assessment Audits. In 2018, we made great progress—but that's just the beginning of a concerted effort that will continue in 2019 and beyond.

In the first three quarters of 2018, we improved our quality performance (measured by square footage of glass returned for credit by customers) by an average of 23 percentage points compared to 2017. We also reduced our coating voids by over 50% compared to 2017.

These are merely milestones along our journey. We will continue to invest dollars, time and attention, including adding additional personnel, into making sure your products are consistent and high quality.

In this issue of the newsletter, we cover the efforts our teams have taken to achieve these improvements, from achieving success with voids to optimizing our credit performance. We hope this story provides you with insight on the people working hard every day to deliver the consistent product your business relies on.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
